I have tried farming with these builds and am not having any luck.

When i tried farming raptors with A/E, it was too slow and i eventually ran out of energy(i have about 55) and died. To speed it up should i try getting a higher rank for ebon battle standard of honor?

And for the A/Me Cryer build... It is incredibly slow and cannot farm anything i try it against.

I would really like to use either the A/E or A/Me to farm, but it just doesnt work out. Should i just try to raise the ebsoh damage, or just delete my assassin?

Do not farm raptors. Keg Farming is better for 'sins.

first of all, I am able to kill every raptor in the cave in hm, under 8 seconds after I cast meteor shower

my build is

mind bender
shadow form
radiation field
meteor shower
bed of coals
frozen burst
flame djins haste
light of deldrimor

you cast flame djin as soon as you zone and run to raptor cave
when flame djinn is about to end, cast mind bender, CAST IT EARLY, we want it to be recharged before casting skill chain
when you cast first mindbender, agro everything in the cave until mindbender is about to end, at that time you will cast shadow form
continue agroing everything in the cave
when everyone is agroed, just walk backwards untill mindbender is recharged
use mindbender again
press, 3,4,5,6,7,8
and foes will be killed

IMPORTANT: the usage of +5 energy, %20 enchantment single handed weapon, 12energy (lower than 12 fire magic req) that has +15e/-1e regen mod
AND HAVING A HIGH ASURAN IS A MUST

if not, you will not be able to cast your chain because of energy issues, and mindbender will not have enough duration
if you have a rank of about 7-8, use mind bender a little later, use it JUST BEFORE agroing the first mob at the entrence of the cave

if you dont have enough deldrimor rank to support your light of deldrimor (its armor ignoring, therefore better than many other higher damging fire magic spells) use it anyways, as even though they will not scatter much away from you and the spells will damage them, light of deldrimor will still cause a significant amount of damage, only require 5 energy, and it has a much wider effect radius

Higher ranks does help, and air of superority does a lot too
i used cryer perma for UW and tombs

WoW!!! I've been looking for such a build, to power level my assn asura title (currently rank 8).

This looks to have potential. Have to farm missing skills (mindbender, among others) and give it a go.

FWIW, without rank 10 asura you will not run at 33% speed, so prolly worth bringing the sacrificial paragon runner hero to boost you to 33% (I plan to). 33% run speed keeps raptors out of range indefinitely in HM...

EDIT: Well, it doesn't kill the boss, but it is slightly faster than my A/D degen build (~10 seconds). I think I'll swap out [Light of Deldrimor] for [Air of Superiority] to give time for event looting...

oh youre right, I forgot about the +%33 speed buff
you NEED TO HAVE +%33 speed buff at least
if raptors can attack you, you WILL FAIL to cast sf for sure

Well thanks for the help everyone...

There are other threads about people being so successful with their assassins in tomb of the primeval kings using the same build as i do. Except they can farm it and i cant which really, really gets me frustrated!

As for the raptors, i might try it except i don't have too many of the skills, and don't have high enough asura rank. Is farming raptors with an assassin faster than an elementalist with sliver form?

I have tried farming areas with my sin and have been completely unsuccessful. Whether it be energy issues, although i have almost the most one could have, too low damage dealing, or just too much damage from signets, it just sucks. To be honest i think farming with a sin is plain awful... I'm just so frustrated.... but thanks for the advice.
